Amazon Summit Promotes BioEconomy Business

On Saturday (03), the first session of the Amazon Summit opened. The event, promoted by Sebrae in Pará and part of the programming of the ninth edition of Pará Negócios, will take place on Sunday (04), from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., at Hangar – Centro de Convenções e Feiras da Amazon, in the capital of Pará, with an intensive program of training and exposure to products and services and their commercialization by entrepreneurs from eight states of the Amazon legal area, which is part of the Inova Amazon program.
Summit Amazon brings together exhibiting entrepreneurs, scientific and technological institutions, innovation centers and investors in a space of 2,538 square meters, who can communicate with each other and with visitors to the space, which is part of one of the largest trade fairs in the northern region, Bara Negusius.
This event marks the end of the activities initiated by the Inova Amazon program in 2021, a Sebrae initiative aimed at promoting and promoting economic and social development in eight legal Amazon states – Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Maranhão, Rondônia, Roraima, Tocantins and Pará, for the benefit of 240 companies in the field of the bioeconomy, including 24 from Para, the first state initiative.
The training program brings together 17 committees, with discussions on various topics related to the bioeconomy, innovation and sustainability. In the display and marketing space, the products and services of the 108 entrepreneurs served by Inova Amazon are presented, including functional rehearsals, chocolates made from Amazon products, acai wine, acai coffee , bio-latex jewelry, walnut oil, cocoa flesh, cocoa vinegar. , Sheep tallow ointment, copaiba products, ecotourism services.
At the start-up stage, companies make impactful presentations, the so-called business proposals. In the Catalisa Hub space, researchers working on innovative topics will present their initiatives. At Hub Sebrae, digital solutions are offered to small businesses.
“We expect this event to create more business for these entrepreneurs, who have already achieved significant results with the actions of Inova Amazon, but should still see many gains from what Sebrae has achieved, through the program. Many doors will remain open,” he explains. by the supervising director of Sebrae in Para, Rubens Magno.
“Inova Amazon has made many achievements. It is the response of the market and the investments are due to the company”, underlines the deputy director of innovation at Sebrae Nacional, Paolo Bobin.
“The Inova Amazon experience has come to take the leap we wanted. We went in one direction and came out with a new business model and new validations”, assesses Ingrid Telles, owner of Ver o Fruto Colleges, in Belém.
Valda Gonçalves, from Macapa, Amapá, is the owner of Engenho Café de Açaí. The company works with coffee made from acai kernels, decaffeinated and gluten-free. “It was very special, it became the key to my work. I’m grateful, the expectations are the best, and now we aim to succeed outside of Brazil,” Valda points out when talking about Innova Amazon. She is one of the members of the SIPRA expedition to Germany in December.

The Sunday (4) training program at the Amazon Summit will include nine additional seminars, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., on the main stage. Two of them should attract more people, namely the vernissage, in which Ismail Nobre, a reference in the field of bioeconomy, will participate, with the theme: Entrepreneurship and innovation Keeping the forest upright, at 10 a.m.; And one at six in the evening, with actor and businessman Sergio Marone, who will talk about the Tucano case, his work.
Other panels will cover the following topics: Healthtechs, Deep Technologies, How to access credit and resources to foster innovation projects, Community Managers, the Israeli market, the bioeconomy and the beauty market, cosmetics and exports. Those interested in participating can still register for the event, which can be done directly at the Hangar, where there are two event-specific accreditation points at the entrance.
Pará Negócios is one of the largest trade fairs in the northern region. After two years of inactivity, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the disease returns with a busy schedule. It brings together a mix of other events, adding training, business roundtables, cultural programming and market presentation of news from the world of entrepreneurship. It is expected that more than 30,000 people will visit the event, which would generate 15 million reais in sales.
