Those who participated in Rio Innovation Week, from November 8 to 11, at Pier Mauá in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, had the opportunity to see the main technological and innovative solutions developed in the country.
One of them is the startup Flying to the Sun, born from a subsidiary of Ergon Projetos, a company rooted in the architecture and interior design market. An estimated 125,000 people strolled through the four days of the event, sharing experiences, doing business and most importantly, discussing new ways to connect.
With smart, connectable and sustainable products, the startup was present at RIW 2022, supported by Sebrae Nacional. Event attendees had the opportunity to visit the solar tree and sunbeds, referred to as “smart stations” and “sunbeds”, where they could rest, connect to Wi-Fi and charge their cell phones or other devices; In addition to ordering chilled water for Cedae, a water supply company in Rio de Janeiro, which has partnered to work through the virtual assistant available through QR CODE.
“Our participation in RIW will become a business case and we want to be more and more involved in such events, because our main objective is to raise awareness,” explained Flying to the Sun CEO Venetia Santos.
